Training workshops implemented in collaboration with PANOS Caribbean are an important component in the media’s response as they provide a platform for journalists to interact with each other, and key stakeholders in the environment. They also help journalists to understand technical information and help them to shape the articles/features to be produced. The CEP welcomes requests for information and have developed a number of tools to promote issues affecting the marine and coastal environment such as invasive species, landbased sources of pollution, climate change, and unsustainable extraction of resources.
