Time certainly has flown and my internship has come to an end with the SPAW sub –programme at UNEP CEP. It’s amazing how much I’ve learnt and I smile now as I realize that the onslaught of acronyms that I encountered when I had just arrived, no longer intimidates me.

As I write my final blog entry, I can see in retrospect that it was the mix of successes and shortcomings, good times and not-so-good times that made this internship experience what it was. Even though I did not execute all the activities outlined in my terms of reference, each task that I had the privilege of undertaking brought with it an opportunity to learn; not just about the environment or SPAW but also important lessons about myself. I am grateful for the experience and the many lessons that I will take into my next adventure…whatever that is.

Challenges Faced
There were no major challenges this time.
