The OAS' Natural Hazards Primer is now available on-line at http://www.oas.org/usde/publications/Unit/oea66e/begin.htm. This manual, published in 1991 with the support of the USAID Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance, remains a significant resource for natural hazard assessment and for the integration of hazard mitigation into development planning.
