The seminar will be held in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles and will convene on Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at 08:00 hours. The seminar will be hosted by the M/V FREEWINDS. The objective of the seminar is to facilitate the exchange of information between participants on legislative and administrative procedures regarding MARPOL Annex V, specifically calling attention to the issue of waste reception facilities in the Wider Caribbean Region with a goal to placing the Special Area provisions of MARPOL Annex V into effect.
