Regional Consultations for the Development of a UNEP/GEF Project on the Disposal of Pesticide Stocks in the Caribbean
These consultations are being organised by UNEP Chemicals Unit and the Basel Convention Secretariat. UNEP-CAR/RCU is involved with this activity as part of a decision from the 11th Intergovernmental Meeting (2004) to encourage collaboration for the development of a regional approach for the integrated management of hazardous wastes and solid wastes in the Caribbean. Participants will include Government technical representatives, donor agencies including banks.
