Recommendations and Decisions from CEP Meetings
Introduction
The meetings of the CEP represent an important part of the activities of the CEP. They allow the CEP to receive feedback and hear the concerns and interests of its member states. These help to define a common mechanism to improve the coastal and marine environments of the Wider Caribbean Region.
The CEP and the Cartagena Convention require Intergovernmental Meetings (IGM) to be held every two years (and also rotating Monitoring Committee (MonCom) Meetings) to review the CEP's progress, chart future activities, and oversee financial and institutional arrangements. The Protocols to the Convention also requests periodic technical and scientific meetings. At the MonCom Meetings recommendations are made while decisions are taken at the IGM.
For easy reference, the recommendations and decisions of the CEP Meetings are given below in chronological order. These documents presented are in pdf format.
